Where we come from
Founded by veterans, built in Texas
The AI Cowboys Foundation was founded by veterans who saw a hard truth. AI is reshaping work, security, and opportunity, and the people who could benefit most are often the last to get access to it. We started this foundation to close that gap.
We are based in San Antonio, Texas, and anchored at the UT San Antonio National Security Collaboration Center. That anchoring is deliberate. It keeps our work serious, connected to real research, and accountable to institutions that matter. We are aligned with The AI Cowboys, which grounds us in practical, applied experience rather than theory alone.
We are early. This is our founding year, and we say so plainly. We would rather be transparent about being an early-stage organization than overstate what we have done. What we can promise today is a clear mission, credible anchoring, and honest reporting as we grow.

We will report our progress honestly as we grow. No inflated milestones, no borrowed credit.
Our plan is straightforward. Publish the clearest AI education available, prove our credibility with research and transparency, and turn learning into real pathways for the people we serve. As partnerships form and programs launch, we will list them only once they are real.
